Long Island Life
Sometimes everything comes together juuuuustttt right and it’s hard to believe we could be so lucky. Chance encounters in college, leaps of faith and large life decisions, a group chat that just won’t quit. These little things compound in a way that I like to equate to “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” This group puts in the work, and so weekends like this one are bound to happen, it’s not luck anymore.
It’s amazing to be surrounded by beautiful people doing beautiful things with their lives and making outstanding impacts on everyone they meet, so much so, you could make an Excel file about them. The love they share and the stories they can tell could easily be a season of How I Met Your Mother.
But that’s a tangent, because Rose and Christian were married on this stunning weekend. Their symbiotic relationship is about to take off to new levels, beyond shipwrecked first dates and summer romance. These two are some of the most wholesome and well-meaning individuals anyone could meet, and now they’re a combo deal that is simply too good. This couple and the entire UTampa crew are truly inspiring and I come home every time thinking about how much more I can do because of what they’ve taught me.
I look forward to seeing them all again on the next journey, but until then, what’re ya gonna do, huh?
