The UT gang reunites in Sperryville, Virginia; a nice cabin in the woods, a private pond, and some good times around the fireplace. It’s always a treat spending quality time with this group. Despite everything changing in all of our lives, playing frisbee in the lawn and cooking together feels like 10 years ago. Although we were a week early, everyone got to share their thankfulness for each other over a nice homemade meal that included sourdough from 4,000 miles away. When I got home and some friends asked what we did up in them hills, I told them exactly this. One friend’s response “just some fucking games and frisbee with the crew on a mountain? That’s a lot to be happy about.” Although it was gloomy most days, this group always brings the Tampa sun, just like they used to wake up to at RESCOM. Here’s to getting ice’d (Smirnoff) and having bagels together again soon. Shoutout to white dog and brown dog for keeping us grounded the whole time.
