Stanley Cup Champs

It took the team 16 years since the last Cup. It took me 10 years of being a fan. I remember when my college suite-mate introduced me to the Lightning. He was a diehard fan and would watch every game with his jersey on. He inspired me to start watching hockey. My friends got into it. We went to games, watch parties, airport arrivals, media events. I’ve met players, coaches, announcers, Hall of Famers, the marketing team, fans from abroad, the Thunderbug, and the Lightning pup. I’ve watched every minute of every game these playoffs. They inspired me. They gave me something to look forward to. Something to be excited about. I am so proud to be the Thunder, so proud of this city, and forever grateful for the opportunities to be this close with the team. These 2 months, and this one night I will never forget. Go Bolts!
